What does Yabla cost? We have already put the provider through its paces in our detailed review. However, we often receive questions about the exact Yabla pricing structure. We want to delve into this question in detail here – below is an overview of Yabla costs at a glance.

Table of Contents

Yabla Costs at a Glance

If you’re interested in a Yabla subscription, there are currently three options with different durations and pricing structures that are always available.

Important! The following prices refer to purchases made via the Yabla website. If you purchase through the App Store or Play Store, an additional fee of up to 30% of the purchase price may be added. Therefore, it’s always best to subscribe via the website!

  • Monthly Subscription: $12.95 per month
  • 6-Month Subscription: $54.95 (monthly $9.16)
  • Annual Subscription: $99.95 (monthly $8.33)

The 1-month subscription is billed monthly at $12.95. This amounts to nearly $130 per year, which is quite substantial. With the annual subscription, you can save a good $30.

As you can see, there isn’t much choice. In our opinion, it’s clearly worth choosing the annual subscription. You don’t learn a language in just four weeks anyway.

The Free Trial at Yabla

As mentioned earlier, you can test Yabla Premium for 15 days free of charge. Afterwards, the profile automatically converts to a subscription with a pre-selected duration (1-12 months). This is common practice for most providers.

You will only be billed after the two weeks have expired, but you should cancel in time to avoid unwanted charges to your account. You can do this immediately after signing up for the trial period! During this time, you can use the full course content of Yabla at no cost.

Possible Payment Methods

Currently, you can purchase Yabla courses on the website using a credit card or PayPal. This should provide a payment option for most people! You sign up with your email address and corresponding payment details – the process is straightforward.

Through the App Store or Play Store, you can also pay with corresponding credit, which in turn can be purchased via top-up cards from retailers or online. Of course, you can also simply have the Yabla costs charged to the payment method stored in the respective app store, if you wish.

Money-Back Guarantee

Yabla does not currently offer a money-back guarantee – for that, the trial period should provide enough time to thoroughly test the provider. Yabla is more generous here than some other providers, as our price comparison of the best language courses also shows.

Generally, however, Yabla support is easily accessible – if in doubt, simply send an email to support@yabla.com and ask politely; they may be accommodating in your situation.

Alternatives to Yabla

Is this provider not for you, or are the Yabla costs simply too high for the content offered? We have two great alternatives here that are worth a look.

Rosetta Stone – A Creative Learning Suite

Instead of videos, Rosetta Stone uses images. However, these are professionally produced. And so, the conclusion in the review was that no other language course uses images as well as Rosetta Stone. Furthermore, there is numerous high-quality additional content in the extensive learning suite. For example, you can use didactically prepared learning stories or train your own pronunciation.

At the same time, Rosetta Stone also offers the possibility to use lessons in a virtual classroom. This way, you also apply the language immediately.

Rosetta Stone has various subscription options with different durations and costs. You can learn with the provider starting from around $15 per month. For comparison: Here you can find the current costs of the most popular language courses.

Lingopie – A Modern Take on Video Lessons

If you like Yablas video lesson approach, but are not the biggest fan of their content or surface, you might wanna take a look at Lingopie! Fairly new to the market, it combines a platform with a wide range of content with a browser extension for Netflix. That makes them not only able to offer their own high-quality videos, but lets you study while (re-)watching your favorite movies or series!

Lingopie also includes a basic, built-in vocabulary trainer and has a great, intuitive surface. Though we do still have some critique, the app clearly has a ton of potential and is already quite good. Prices start from around 6$ a month – they do not offer a free trial, however.

– Conclusion: Yabla Costs in 2025 –

The name Yabla is derived from the Spanish “habla” (he/she/it speaks) – and the provider lives up to its name. So, is Yabla worth it? Here we can once again agree with the conclusion from our review and say – absolutely!

Yabla is a strong language course that is particularly suitable for visual learners, advanced learners, and those returning to a language. Yabla is also wonderfully suited for preparing for tests like the IELTS or for acquiring colloquial vocabulary. This even earns Yabla a spot in our Top 10 best language learning apps.

The selection of course content is also regularly optimized and expanded. We particularly like the extensive filter function, which allows you to find exactly the videos you are looking for. The Yabla pricing is more than reasonable for the added value offered.

Have you already had experience with the provider, and do you also consider the Yabla costs to be reasonable? Let us know your perspective in the comments!
